Golf - Who woulda thought it's the recruiting...

I've been a big critic of Fields. We've blown leads in conference championships. We've had inconsistent performances by the top players. Turns out, you can get some new golfers every once in a while and then this happens.

I guess the bigger question is: how come we haven't gotten better golfers until now?

Men’s golf team ranked first in nation

The Texas men’s golf team earned the top ranking in the Golfstat Head-to-Head Standings. Oregon was second and Stanford third.

The Longhorns rolled to their second consecutive victory Tuesday with a 16-stroke win at the Jack Nicklaus Invitational. Last week, the Longhorns won the Jerry Pate Intercollegiate by 20 strokes.
