Anybody have a favorite pro in the Austin area? If I may, I want to give a plug for the guy I go to, Richard Ethridge. I just had a lesson today, and for the fourth time in two years, he fixed my swing in about 3 minutes. He's a great guy as well. He was at Golfsmith for a few years, and is now at Teravista. Tell him Greg Shields sent you if you go.

By the way, Teravista looks pretty nice. The range is incredible. The course isn't open yet, but it looks pretty impressive. They really want to have it in perfect condition when they open.

I second going to Richard. I have taken lessons from a lot of different guys, got disappointed and almost quit the game. I went to Richard a few months back and he really helped me out. Got me hitting the ball about 15+ yards further with much more control. Great teacher and a cool guy as well.

I took a series of lessons from Warren Moore. He used to be out at ACC, and then moved to Barton Creek Lakeside. Great guy, excellent lessons.

I agree about the range out at Teravista. Very solid. I met with the GM out there last week and they are shooting for a Labor Day Weekend opening.

$50. I think that is for 45 minutes. I was there for about 45 minutes to an hour, so I'm not completely sure of the time period involved.

The guy at ACC is good.
