Shadowdancer and I are heading Arlington today to watch the Rangers and Twins.

I went to college with Ronnie Gardenhire and had classes with him, and he always told me that he would get me tickets when he made it to the big leagues. But the sonofabitch never returned my calls.

i plan on going to the game friday night as well.... driving up to dallas tonight to go back home for the first time in.... over a year. it will be tricky though, since i just fractured my fibula. we'll see how it works out... my rangers are that important to me.

Lee's curveballs are batting practice pitches too often lately. They are just big looping targets that say "hit me". His fastball is pretty good and he is hitting his spots. Hopefully Cliff and Maddux can figure out how to fix the curveball and get back to the real Cliff Lee. Wow, 0-3 with an ERA of over 9 in his last three starts. Ouch.

My first reaction is that we need to "re-order" the top of the rotation...but, upon further review, I think that would be knee-jerk. We do have a month and when you see the comparisons to last year then maybe this is just his low cycle of the year. We gotta hope so. Otherwise, you really would have to consider CJ, Colby and Lee in that order. But let's tap the brakes before we get that decision.

Very tough way to end the game today. In fact it was an "oh ****!" Would have loved to have seen Nellie bat. I think Grieve got his words mixed up...the ump "technically" called it correct but not "in the spirit" of the rule. The coach was not trying to help Young in any way.

that was a head scratcher H69....when josh said anderson touched young i thought "wtf else can go wrong?"....I guess i can't get too pissed off since the umps are paid to make those calls and enforce the rule book...still sucks tho

I'm officially worried about our pitching...the division is sewed up, but this pitching isn't going to do much vs playoff teams if things don't turn around
