Going forward, what happens to Hunter Biden?

While I am opening this up to everyone, I am curious as to the thoughts from the lawyers in the group.

Joe Biden has said that he would not pardon his son but was not asked about commutation. Hunter is due in California court in September. If Joe does not intervene pre- or post-trial, will Kamala? I think not on the latter.

I have thought about when Hunter would be pardoned. Slojoe's problem now is every everything he does between now and January is going to be second-guessed to some degree. I give it a 50-50 chance that he does something so stupid that even the demz machine cannot cover for him and they will invoke the 25th Amendment.
