Ok, so not a good choice but someone, or something, needs to get Boehner to grow a pair or be replaced. I'm sick of him.
 
Gohmert was an outstanding student at A&M, so I don't think he is an idiot, as he frequently seems. I suspect he is an adept actor and is placating his east Texas base and trying to build a national following by playing to the loons on the right, which is the only avenue with paved streets in the GOP

I hope he goes far, as it will contribute to our being played as knuckle dragging idiots on the national scene and provide a lot of great humor for the joke peddlers on television.

And introduce the nation to the joy that is Aggie.
 
He is only trying to get Boehner out and has the courage (whether smart or not) to run against him. If he can get it to a run off election (requires a simple majority) then Boehner probably steps down and someone else would emerge - probably Trey Gowdy.
 
My post was just giving a different perspective - not endorsing anyone for the job.

I believe both parties need new leadership. Maybe Trey Gowdy can both take charge and also control all factions of his party. Certainly, Gohmert cannot. I would advocate for someone replacing Pelosi as leader of her party as well.

In the end, I doubt Boehner is removed even though he has been powerful since Gingrich was leader. Hopefully, it does wake the establishment.
 
Yes, Boehner, Pelosi,Reed and McConnell have really awakened Boxer, Waters, SJL, McCain, Graham, Schumer, et al.
 
Amnesty, tax code and ACA are the major pieces of legislation that many do not think Boehner will fight for in a conservative way.
 
The So Called Extremists are pissed about the spending bill just passed for number 1. What a crock of **** that was shoved down the people's throat.
