Allow me to preface this comment by saying that I totally understand the reasoning for postponing the game this weekend, but despite the inevitable fallout from this hurricane, I would like to look at how this effects this football team (which, if I am not mistaken, is the primary focus of this entire board).
As a result of this recent development, we have now lost an invaluable bye week just before conference play. Arkansas will no doubt be our ***** (and I am talking a dirty deep rootin', 56-13 style), but I would be blind not to see how this could throw a real wrench into how our coaches and players plan to enter and dominate conference play. Whether you can admit it or not, our season’s layout just changed.
Champions overcome this ****, so put me in the camp that expects success in the face of adversity. We will kill piggy, and dominate conference play. Feel free to hit me with the standard "I want what you're smoking” card, but I truly expect this out of the phenomenal coaching staff and talent level that we follow religiously. Victory or Death.
