Just do it. It's never wrong. I don't care how run-down, ****** up or dangerous that town is. You'll always be satisfied by a great meal there.

As proof, I would kill everyone of you right now for another bowl of gumbo or a bbq shrimp po-boy from Liuzza's by the Track...

Irene's cuisine - Osso Buco.
Crab cakes at Mandina's. Crawfish etouffe at Mother's...****, a Ferdi special at Mother's...I get hard just thinking about roast beef debris and baked ham.

Anybody ever have a poboy from Mimi's Market in Lakeview? When I think of all the personal things that have been lost since Katrina, Mimi's not reopening makes me saddest. Either way, I'm going home for 2 weeks next Friday and I am going to eat a ton (Domilise's, Bud's Broiler, Camellia Grill, Galatoire's, etc.)

Thanks for the post!

Tujague's is also still really ******* good. That shrimp remoulade never fails.

We need a salivating smiley.
