Spurs sweep Memphis and are n the finals again. Pop has to be one of the best coaches ever. Holding Randolph and Gasol to almost nothing was a brilliant job.

I agree that Popovich is one of the best coaches ever, probably the best of this generation.
This is a team that should have had the window close about 3-5 years ago, with age and injuries. However, Pop management of minutes for Duncan and Manu has been masterful. As well as the development of key contributors that fit the team perfectly.

also, If there was any question as to who is the best PF ever, that has been answered this year by Duncan.

It's amazing that Duncan is playing his best basketball of the last six years with the personal stuff he is going through now.

Ginobili has hit some big shots, but he has also been rather cold for much of these playoffs. One way or the other, I think he's going to be a big key in the finals.

Would some one please explain how the greatest NBA team ever assembled in the course of human history, the Heat, is only 2-2?

I guess the argument could be made that the Heat has the greatest player ever assembled in the course of human history, but while Wade is very good, I don't think the rest of the team is all that special.

As far as how they are 2-2? The Pacers are better than a lot of people think and the Heat have no answer for Roy Hibbert.

I thought the Greatest Team Ever Assembled lost in 5 games to the Pistons in the Finals.

Also, I hadn't given the Spurs much chance against the Heat (and also felt like Indiana was an annoyingly perfect bad matchup for the Spurs) , but I'm changing my mind after actually watching the games. Both of these teams look more like Memphises than San Antonios right now.

I really wanted the Spurs to beat the Heat in the finals, but I can't bring myself to cheer for the latter in any game, so I'll be pulling for the Pacers in game 7.

^ Ditto. If the Heat do win, Duncan has to be licking his chops watching Hibbert dominate those guys in the post.
