GMAT scores - do employers care?

Do potential employers look at GMAT scores or are they strictly for applying to graduate school?

I've never heard of a company asking for a GMAT score.

Because if you've listed that you have an MBA, they will really only care (at most) your MBA GPA. And if you don't have a MBA, they would assume you've never taken the GMAT.

I can't imagine a college grad being asked for the SAT score. Same concept.

yeah, one hedge fund company i applied for asked me for my SAT score (the interview took place right before i was about to wrap up my master's degree in Comp Sci).

I LOLed.

Back in 2003 when the market was tough, I-Banks used GMAT scores to screen out initial interviews at 2nd tier schools like UT but they were not considered past that stage as far as I know.

The general rule of thumb for MBA students should be to include the GMAT score on the resume if it's 700+. Otherwise omit it.
