1981 was a transition year for women's sports. AIAW still existed but NCAA started recognizing women's varsity sports. There were actually two champions that year. Texas for AIAW and USC for NCAA. After 1981, AIAW went away. So...4 national championships...Lady Horns worked so hard for that national title honor and trophy!!! So proud of this team!!
