GG to USC?

Seems to be some smoke. I figured she would end up just taking a year off. I was a fan of Gail, but I think she will run into the same issues she had at Texas at USC. Her personality just seems more suited for an East coast program or an Ivy League school.

The USC job is an interesting one because there is a lot of talent on the USC roster and CA is a recruiting hot bed which is a major plus. However, the emergence of UCLA and Cal (along with Stanford) will make recruiting that much harder.

You would also have to think she is up for the Ohio State opening as well. They are rumored to be looking for a big name and paying big money.

Good spot to start talks. But I wonder, now that she has had a year to enjoy linking back with her family, whether she will take a job that far away. Ohio State may be another possibility but other jobs are sure to open up. She's too good a coach not to have feelers put out by universities looking for a coach.
