Getting kicked out of bars on 6th St.

i was getting kicked out of bars on 6th street before mosta u sumbitches were born.  hell, i t was called pecan street first time i got kicked outta one.

I got kicked out of Steamboat one time.

I was sitting on those "steps" next to the wall where people sat, and I started puking all over the floor.

Next thing I knew, two dudes were ushering me out the door. I didn't put up any fight. I knew why they were doing it, and understood completely.

I'll never understand why idiots fight with bouncers. That just gives them and 4 or 5 of their steroid infused bouncer buddies reason to kick your *** in front of everybody. Then YOU get hauled into the drunk tank by Austin's finest...

They said I was drunk ... in public.

I said, No, I was drunk in a bar. They threw me OUT in public.

Once. From the Co-Op. Apparently my "resting with eyes closed" was too close to looking like I had passed out. I didn't realize what was happening until I was outside and just replied with a meager "oh..."

When I couldn't find my way to my 2nd choice bar, I decided to call it a night and get back on the E-Bus.

I have never been kicked out of a bar. I have been refused service, which led to me voluntarily leaving. But never kicked out.

Never been kicked out of a bar, and I've made the rounds on Sixth. However, one time, a bar refused to let my friend in because they misinterpreted his limp as drunkenness. The limp is a result of his mild cerebral palsy, and he was our designated driver that night.

Every time I come down to Austin I hook up with 2 of my cousins. One particular cousin always gets either kicked out or refused entrance. Never fails. I guess he's just that guy.
