Getting a newspaper article framed?

i want to get a newspaper article matted & framed for a friend of mine. about how much will this cost and where are some places to go in austin?

any framing shop can do this for you, be sure to ask for Acid Free products for the dry stock and mounting, that way as long as the newspaper is ot in direct sunlight it won't fade over time.

Take it to Michael's...they'll do a good job and give you plenty of options. Also, check your Sunday paper for a Michael's insert...it's not in there every week, but when it is they'll usually include a coupon for 50% off custom framing.

you have never had anything framed have you? it all depends on size, you really need to a framing shop or a Michaels because the price will vary based on size, glass, frame, mounting. if you do it right it may not be cheap, but it look great, it will last, and you will have done a nice thing for your friend that they will remember.

I had a mat and fram for a cedar duck I carved and it ran 60--24x30 size
