This team has serious issues figuring out how to get a run across with a runner at 3rd with less than 2 outs. I'd be curious of our success rate in that situation this year.
Bottom of the sixth, Jungmann gives up a lead-off walk.
Skip convenes a conference on the mound, but Jungman stays in.
Baylor sacrifices runner to second with a bunt down the first-base line. Now would be a good time for Jungmann to add to his K total.
Jungmann grooves the payoff pitch and the batter singles to right. Runner holds on third, so the Bears have runners at the corners with one out.
Grounder to second. Texas tries to turn the double play, but the runner beats the throw at first and a run scores. Texas 2, Baylor 1. The Bears have a runner on first and two outs.
Two-out single up the middle. BU now has runners at the corners.
Jungmann gets the batter to reach for a ball outside to get the third out of the inning and his 10th K of the game. Looks outta gas.
Credit Baylor for taking advantage of that leadoff walk, whereas Texas has gotten the leadoff batter aboard three consecutive innings but only one run to show for it.
Ooh, a great strikeout for this 10th K, and Taylor gets out of the innings. Come on offense, give the kid some runs and ensure his win on a superb first start!
2-1 to bot 6th.

PS: The title of this thread is a serius FAIL. Shouldn't tempt baseball Gods like that.
Dicharry quickly in trouble. Walks the leadoff, who steals second after Tucker can't make the tag (not his fault, however--baserunner slid into his glove, knocking the ball out).
Baylor having its small-ball troubles as well--next batter pops up a bunt for an easy out. Runner on second, one out.
Grounder back to Dicharry, who checks the advancing runner and instead makes the play to first. Bears have a runner at third, two outs.
First-pitch flyout to just beyond the second-base bag for out number three! We really dodged a bullet that inning.
Dicharry is throwing some serious junk. Don't see many college pitchers with that much break to their stuff.
Belt with a deep fly to left center. Tucker remains at first with Kevin Lusson up to bat.
Lusson with a single to center! Two on, one out. Rupp up.
Baylor with a pitching change. Incidentally, Rupp is 2-for-2 on the day and has both RBIs.
Morgan Mickan pinch running for Lusson at first.
Rupp Ks. Stares at the first two pitches and then chases the third.
Keyes with a deep fly to right for out number three. Amazing. That's four out of the past five innings that UT has gotten the leadoff runner on base but only one run to show for it. And, in the other inning, Texas got one on with one out.
Loy with a leadoff single to center. Care to bet what's coming next?
Two foul bunts for Rupp. Guess he'll be swinging now.
Rupp with a popup to shallow right. One out, Maitland up.
Maitland with a comebacker that squirts through the pitcher's glove. Not sure if it'll be marked a hit or an error. Would've been a double-play ball had the pitcher handled it better. Announcers just said it was ruled an infield single. Runners on first and second, one out.
Torres with a bloop RBI single to left! Loy scores, making it Texas 3, Baylor 1. What a job by Torres--that was a beaut of an inside pitch that he fought off. Runners on first and second, one out, Tucker up.
Tucker reaches first on a fielder's choice. Maitland moves to third, Torres out at second. Baylor almost turned the double play. Runners at the corners, two outs, Belt up.
Called strike on an inside pitch gets Belt and out number three for Baylor.
Heading into the bottom of the ninth, Texas leads, 3-1, despite outhitting the Bears 12-4. 'Horns have stranded nine, I believe.
