Germany: Moves toward reproachment with Russia

Two underreported developments the past week. The first has to do with Putin’s attendance at an Austrian wedding and side meeting with Merkel. The second is a call from the German foreign minister recommending that Germany and the EU develop a payment system to bypass the United States.

Putin’s visit basically solidified the Nordstream 2 gas project that will connect Russian gas directly to Germany, thus killing any hope for US exports to Europe. This appears to be a done deal.

The plan put forward by the German foreign minister is designed to offset US economic pressure against any move made by the EU contrary to the US wishes.

Russia and US methods of reaching agreements could not be more opposite. Whereas Russia relies on diplomacy and negotiation with both its friends and its enemies, the US increasingly shuns these avenues and instead relies on force; economic measures such as sanctions and blockades, color revolutions, or military force. Even trusted allies are threatened to toe the line. Countries such as Germany are being tested as to whether or not they will act as a sovereign entity or a vassal state. Turkey is sliding its allegiance from NATO toward the East. South America is a ticking bomb.

No, they're on the LGBTQWERTY Rights Council this year. Topics that Iran will focus on will include:

1. Recommended height of building to throw gays off of.
2. Hanging or stoning - the eternal question.
3. Should brothers / sisters of gays be killed as well, just to be sure?

Join us in Tehran this Spring for a discussion these and other important topics, at a conference funded by the Obama/Biden airlift of several billion dollars, in unmarked 100 dollar bills.
