Texas signee Andrew McKirahan pitched 6.1 innings of shutout baseball and Erik Miller got the last 2 outs to lead GHS to a 2-0 victory. McKirahan scored GHS's first run after he hit a leadoff double. Texas signee Morgan Mickan scored the other run after he tripled (missed the HR by a foot) and was driven in by Miller. Georgetown RHP and Texas signee Taylor Jungmann is expected to pitch the 2nd game of the series Saturday in Weimar. Texas signee Austin Dicharry took the loss for Klein Collins, but pitched very well, allowing only 1 run in about 4 innings of work. LHP Sam Stafford of Klein Collins is also a Texas signee.

I've seen the Georgetown players and they are really good. Have not seen the Klein player,but he must be good also. UT is stacking them up for next year.
