Russia and Iran together still pose a major threat to the US and our allies. That reality is not a partisan issue. I pray that we are able to find a peaceful way to resolve the conflict, but I don't know that war will be avoided. Iran has been consistent in it's calls for the destruction of Israel. The US will NEVER stand by and see Israel attacked without standing by her. If this is the case any major conflict between Iran and Israel will pull in the US and Russia on opposing sides. I will continue to pray that this doesn't happen, but the potential definately exists.

Why do 100k Jews live in Iran? There is no truth statement that Iranian leader actually said that. He is just anti Zionist. Not anti Jewish.
Israel well being shouldn't even be a top 10 issue in my book. Yet both parities have their knee pads on and AIPAC is probably the most influential group out there even more so than NRA.
I wish them well and peace and same for the undesireables who live with them and there before them.
Nuclear Proliferation - which does not mean you have to attack Iran. We had Saddam neutered before the invasion and Iran can be managed.
Iran had a strong base of a much more moderate leadership but Neo Cons idealogy foreign policy we carried out helped shift the politcal power in Iran to mess we have now.

Other non-Zionist Israeli movements, such as the Canaanite movement led by poet Yonatan Ratosh in the 1930s and 1940s, have argued that "Israeli" should be a new pan-ethnic nationality. A related modern movement is known as post-Zionism, which asserts that Israel should abandon the concept of a "state of the Jewish people" and instead strive to be a state of all its citizens. Another opinion favors a binational state in which Arabs and Jews live together while enjoying some type of autonomy, as in Belgium.
