Haven't Russia and Iran been saying that for years? Hell, isn't that Hugo Chavez wacko in Venezula saying the same thing?

After the Cold War, Russian Espionage in the U.S.

NPR interview with a former KGB officer who came over to our side.

Listen for the part about the co. in Russia that wanted to bore a huge fuckin' hole through the Arctic Circle & accept the world's waste (nuke included), then drop a nuke down the hole.

Oh, & he supposedly had this nuke of his very own just sitting around in his garage.

Russia and Iran together still pose a major threat to the US and our allies. That reality is not a partisan issue. I pray that we are able to find a peaceful way to resolve the conflict, but I don't know that war will be avoided. Iran has been consistent in it's calls for the destruction of Israel. The US will NEVER stand by and see Israel attacked without standing by her. If this is the case any major conflict between Iran and Israel will pull in the US and Russia on opposing sides. I will continue to pray that this doesn't happen, but the potential definately exists.

Let me state that in my previous post I was not suggesting or agreeing with (not necessarily disagreeing either) on Mid-East policy. Just stating what I believe the facts are in where the US stands.

Why do 100k Jews live in Iran? There is no truth statement that Iranian leader actually said that. He is just anti Zionist. Not anti Jewish.

Israel well being shouldn't even be a top 10 issue in my book. Yet both parities have their knee pads on and AIPAC is probably the most influential group out there even more so than NRA.

I wish them well and peace and same for the undesireables who live with them and there before them.

Nuclear Proliferation - which does not mean you have to attack Iran. We had Saddam neutered before the invasion and Iran can be managed.
Iran had a strong base of a much more moderate leadership but Neo Cons idealogy foreign policy we carried out helped shift the politcal power in Iran to mess we have now.

Anti-Zionism per Wikipedia
There are a number of critics of Zionism, ranging from Jewish anti-Zionists to pro-Palestinian activists. Some of the most vocal critics of Zionism have tended to be Palestinians and other Arabs, many of whom view Israel as wrongfully occupying what they view as the Arab land of Palestine. Such critics generally opposed Israel's creation in 1948, and continue to criticize the Zionist movement which underlies it. These critics view the changes in demographic balance which accompanied the creation of Israel, including the displacement of some 700,000 Arab refugees, the displacement of 600,000 Jewish refugees from Arab lands, and the accompanying violence, as negative but inevitable consequences of Zionism and the concept of a Jewish State. Critics of Zionism, such as Joseph Massad of Columbia University have asserted that Zionism is a form of racism, both in its support of Israel as a Jewish State, and in its continuing policies such as the Law of Return.

While most Jewish groups are pro-Zionist, some liberal and Haredi Jewish communities (most vocally the Satmar Hasidim and the Neturei Karta group), oppose Zionism on religious grounds. Other non-Zionist Israeli movements, such as the Canaanite movement led by poet Yonatan Ratosh in the 1930s and 1940s, have argued that "Israeli" should be a new pan-ethnic nationality. A related modern movement is known as post-Zionism, which asserts that Israel should abandon the concept of a "state of the Jewish people" and instead strive to be a state of all its citizens. Another opinion favors a binational state in which Arabs and Jews live together while enjoying some type of autonomy, as in Belgium.
