So I'm headed to see George tonight with a friend. free ticket so I'm going. Anyone ever seen him? And don't worry, i like to get funky.

If he follows his pattern from the last two times I've seen him, he will be on stage about half an hour...then the Funkadelics will close out the show. Free ticket is probably worth it. I've heard he has a relationship with crack these days.

At the Swamp Romp Fest thing he came on for two songs in the end, that was it. You get Ge nton, that's it. But go. It will be fun anyways.

I caught them in Seattle a year ago. George was stage most of the time although not always singing. I was pretty lit but I remember someone wearing a diaper.

Band's always great, whether George puts his time in or not.Diaper Man is Gary Shider, who's been playing guitar for P-funk for ~40 years now. Hopefully you'll also get to see Michael Hampton playing "Maggot Brain", which is usually transcendent.

Saw him in Dublin when I was studying abroad. The show was about 4 hours. Nuts. Prepare yourself for possible psychedelic electric mandolin solos and 20 minute "warm up" jams. George probably won't even come out on stage until about an hour into the set.
