Western Civilization is now morally adrift. For thousands of years, one man and one woman, who were not closely related to each other, was the only recognized form of union. But now we're sooo much smarter and more civilized than our racist, bigoted ancestors. Now, we don't need those antiquated social mores that were the underpinning of society for thousands of years.

Genetic Sexual Attraction.

One thing that strikes me that nobody has commented on as of yet, is the politically correct term of GSA which is substituted for the word that's been used for hundreds of years. Incest.

For those of you that are 50+ years of age, you'll remember that in the 60's and 70's there weren't any gay people. Just queers. Homosexuals stayed in the closet and were generally shunned by the population. Over a period of years, the less derogatory word, "gay" replaced the word queer. Gay became the politically correct term for homosexuals, and eventually a much greater percentage of the population accepted their lifestyle and it became safe for them to come out of the closet. The mores of the society changed.

I'm seeing the same attempts within this article. Who on earth came up with the term "Genetic Sexual Attraction" and decided it was more fitting a term than "pervert" or "incest?" Now, unlike with homosexuals, I seriously doubt there are millions of people out there who desire to marry or have sexual relations with one of their parents. At least I hope not. But if there can be a politically correct term for this, and enough people buy into it, the same can be done with pedophilia. First you come up with a mild sounding name for it, then you rationalize it as just a natural part of human biology, and gradually enough people accept it and it becomes OK to practice the behavior.

This article was about two consenting adults, and what they do doesn't effect me as an individual. But over time, if there is a consistent drum beat of political correctness and rationalization, I suppose the social norms could be skewed to where the behavior isn't as uncommon or shunned.

Considering that the actual percentage of gays in society is probably around 3 percent, I'm not sure I'd go so far as to say "millions". But to your point, frankly the PC verbiage pretty much sounds like normal speak to me these days. I almost don't notice it.

Makes you wonder what is the actual goal of the Left. They're winning in a landslide, but where are they taking us? Obviously they disapprove of the social mores of the past. It seems like they want a totally secular (i.e. non-Christian), hedonistic society; legal drugs (marijuana), sex of any proclivity, etc. What's that old saw about societies rotting from within before they're conquered from without?

it's no accident what you outlined previously. Nomenclature was CRITICAL to the success of the agenda to pervert the truth.

Am I "for" gay marriage? ABSOLUTELY. If your marriage is NOT gay, then might I suggest a marriage conference or even counseling. It should be the second best thing to ever happen to ya.

Gay is a descriptor of an emotion ... and a loved-one's middle name. I bristle every time I hear it. I don't know which is the most enviable position ... to ALWAYS notice the word's perverted redefinition ... or to never notice it (you know, ignorance is bliss?)

Clean makes an excellent point, too, about the rotting from within. it's happening before our very eyes.

The good news is we can have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, the author and perfecter of faith. It is in HIM where my hope is found, not upon anything mankind does.

They will say monkeys can't consent so I would expect the push for marrying animals to come after incest and polygamy are legalized.
