From everything I have seen and read I really like this kid and am very excited to have him coming here. Then again I did a lot of my non-Texas growing up in N.M. so maybe there is a little bias.

I want this guy to take the reigns early and be our starting QB and offensive general. Watching his film and hearing him speak and the spark in his eyes...that kid has something special. Some guys you can just see it in the stare and confident smile. This kid will be very successful at Texas.

Brad, I feel the very same way. I have to check myself often on him because I am partial to him being from N.M. and tend to be a bit of a homer/sunshine type. But I agree with you. He just seems to have that "it". He strikes me as a very hard worker who has massive amounts of natural talent with room for development. Seems to have the right attitude to go with it.
