Is there a way to turn your gas back on yourself? the Gas company won't come out till Monday to turn it on, but would like to get on sooner if there is a way.
most likely has a gas co. seal / lock dealie on it. Otherwise, you go outside to the meter, find the shutoff valve, and turn it 1/4 turn, so that the valve parallels the gas line.
btw, i realize most here are far away from earthquake country, but everyone should know how to shut off the gas at their home. If you don't know, ask someone.
