Anybody have any inside information on Gary Johnson and his leg injury? We are going to need him against any big team. Possible return for Miami?

Last I heard was probable for the 2nd round.

The way Rick talks in interviews and radio shows and whatnot, Gary was basically good to go (if needed) for the Big XII championship game, but Rick doesn't want to use him in a game that's not of the utmost importance (Kansas) or a game where he isn't really needed for a win (Austin Peay). Not worth risking a season-ending injury to his leg.

I think Texas can beat Miami without him, but it definitely is not a sure thing like it was today, so I would hope to see him in the lineup on Sunday.

I feel like we will most definitely need him should we match p with Stanford in the Sweet 16. As far as Sunday's game against Miami, I'll trust Rick to decide if more rest or a moderate workload is best.

I think his leg injury might be a blessing. I still have concerns, for him, about his heart.
