Garrett Gilbert to Start for the Boys

Dallas is a mess and I'm not sure anybody at QB would be winning right now. Glad for Gilbert to get to play, but I don't think it'll make much difference, even if he personally plays well.

This is the first time I have sat down with the intention of watching a Cowboys game in probably 20 years. :rolleyes1: You're worth it Garrett. 2/2 so far with a nice deep ball.

All the Steelers will do is sit back on first down and probably pressure Gilbert into making a mistake or two on second and third down.

Who could watch a Cowboys game - might as well have the Texas on, for two incompetent organization not worth an excited electron hitting a vacuum tube.

He's doing pretty well, and the defense has finally shown up, and they used a throwback play on a punt return to fool Pitt and set up a score. Where has this been all year? If the D and special teams had shown up like this earlier when Dak and the OL were healthy, they'd have a couple of more wins.

They had Ben stopped if not for that flag. Right call, awful rule. A guy with no ill intent and not hitting late happens to fall in a way as to bump the qb wrong and they get bailed out instead of facing the deserved 4th down.

Incredible game by Gilbert under circumstances. Pretty shocked Roethlisberger walked off field without coming over to congratulate him. I realize he was injured but it really isn’t too hard to walk across the field (and I bet Gilbert would have come over to him).

Garrett may not be able to get out of bed until Thursday. Kid took a helluva beating. Don't watch much NFL, but I didn't realize Dallas' OL may be worse than the one in Travis County.

Yeah, Travis Frederick retired due to chronic illness and La'el Collins and Tyron Smith are both injured. Zack Martin was out at one point too, but at least he's back now.

He gave it a good go considering the dumpster fire that is the Cowboys offensive line, not to mention the fact that the Zeke we used to know and love is no more.

I saw that. It was classless by Ben.

GG has wheels and, when given time, can throw a nice ball. His problem is his decision mAking when under pressure, like that interception inside the Steelers 5 yd line. That was a killer. Still a pretty good effort give the circumstances.

He should have thrown it into the stands. Nobody was open.

He got hit as he was throwing it. Not sure where it was intended as it just fluttered out of his hand. Cowboys have the worst L tackle in the NFL with Smith out. Williams is maybe the worst guard in the league. He's just awful. Such a shame to watch a longhorn be this bad. That last play he just got blown up like he was a HS player.

Williams got pushed around all day. It was sickening to watch. In other news, I was looking at 2021 mock draft boards this afternoon. Yeah, I'm that big of a nerd. Almost all of the major services have slid Cosmi into the 2nd round.

Connor gets pushed around every week. Really disappointing how weak he has been in the NFL.

Especially odd seeing what a big deal it was for us when he came back from injury in 2017. The difference in our OL was noticeable (although it was still weak overall, much like Dallas now where Zack Martin can only make so much of a difference by himself).
