Garmin IQUE M5

If you recall, I was looking for a PDA for my upcoming studies. Well, I decided to unload some cash on a Garmin IQUE M5. It's a PocketPC, 416mhz, 128mb memory, and most importantly, a built-in GPS system. That is the shizzle. I haven't played around with it yet, but everything seems like it's a decently powered PDA with an integraded GPS navigation system.

I have the Garmin iQue 3600 (Palm OS). I sure hope the GPS reception is better on the M5 than previous Garmin PDAs. It takes forever to get a lock on 3 or 4 satellites with the dinky antenna that comes with mine. Neat toy, but it's no longer my primary PDA.

I've read enough reviews to be secure in its reception ability -- all raves, no complaints except for the common ones you always hear.

It's also good that it's not a Palm.
