WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize Gap Kid for his many achievements in the classroom and on the football field; and

WHEREAS, Texas Tech Red Raider fan, Gap Kid has set a high standard of excellence in his life; and

WHEREAS, Gap Kid, in a scene reminiscent of the Alamo, led the rebellion against the forces of evil and buffoonery, by carrying the goal posts to the north end zone, toward section 15, and shoving the goal posts into the stands. thought id come around and say hey since the 10 year anniversary of the "gap kid" is this weekend. I am trying to make it down for the game but I just graduated from Tech in August and moved to Dallas and got a job and might have to start this week. I am trying to get off but not certain yet.
