Can't seem to get the Championship game vs FL Atl. on the radio...

Not on 98.1, not on 1300 the zone..

????

It started about 4:30 yesterday - there was a game before ours - the website says 1300 will carry it. I do know they had phone problems yesterday - hope that's not the problem today!
 
If you cannot get 1300, the game is being broadcast for free on
the Florida Atlantic University radio station. . . just follow the links on the FAU Women's basketball home page.
 
I was getting ready to follow the online links, but KVET announced that the prior game had run into lenght issues- overtime?, and the UT game would be on shortly. Guess it has not yet started. I thought I had missed a big chuck of it. The times are really off.
 
They just announced it will start soon....whew...

Doesn't sound like it started out that way with the Horns down 0-7. Course they now have the lead, 19-12.

Sounds like they have found their game - maybe they left it on the bus. It sounds like Coach G pulled out the starters and sent them to the bus to get it.

Up 30-18 with 3:something left in the first half
 
15:21 left in second half 45-28. Carla playing well, hit a couple of three's and is scoring more in this game. Carol Ross says the pace has picked up and Texas is playing better.
 
I guess Coaches' half time talk must have worked - FAU only has 2 field goals in the second half at the 5:something mark of the second half.
 
Final 87-38. Texas held FAU to four field goals in the second half - two came in the last minute of the game. So, they only had two in the first 19 mins of the second half. Pretty tenacious defense, huh!
