Game Watching on Interwebs

I'm a grad student at Texas State, and to save some cash, my roommates and I decided not to get cable TV. We've got Time Warner Cable internet service, which apparently doesn't support espn3. I know I could always go to a bar to watch the game, but that can get expensive, and the whole point of not getting cable was to save some money because I'm really, really broke.

Anyone know a good, reliable FREE way to watch ALL (or most of) the games online?

I don't know how soon it goes into effect, but TIme Warner just renegotiated their contract with Disney, and part of the new deal means that TWC customers will have access to ESPN3.

Here are the new ESPN services that will be included for TWC customers (this is from an e-mail newsletter I got this morning from TWC):

ESPN3.com - ESPN's live sports broadband network will be available to all Time Warner Cable subscribers who get ESPN.

•A New ESPN Service - customers will be able to view ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU through broadband and mobile Internet devices.

•ESPN Goal Line - a college football super-highlight channel will be available only to Time Warner Cable’s Sports Pass customers starting as early as September 4, 2010.

•ESPN Buzzer Beater - a college basketball service similar to ESPN Goal Line, will be available to Time Warner Cable’s Sports Pass customers for college basketball season.

I haven't looked yet, but the last couple of years justin.tv has had numerous netcasters streaming college football (and many other sporting events worldwide) - pretty much any game that's on TV anywhere can be found there. ABC seemed to be the main broadcaster who actually spent time searching the innertubes for illicit netcasters and shutting them off in mid-stream, but there also seemed to be folks stepping in and picking the streams right back up or giving links to other sites with intact streams. It's worth a try, for sure.

ATT DSL service does include ESPN3, if that's an option for you.
