Game of Thrones Season 5

I’ve never seen GoT. Should I start? Is it available on streaming without commercials?

It is one of the best shows on TV right now! THE best imo. If you have HBO Go you can stream it without any commercials (it's an HBO show, so no commercials anyway). I'm sure there are other "ways" of getting access to it, but I don't know about those.

I've seen the first four episodes which is good and all but now I gotta wait 4 weeks til episode 5. What was I thinking?!

There are sites to download the episodes, but you better have good malware and adware protection.

Dem dragons are out of control! How they gonna help Danny set her royal highness, on that Iron Thrown now?
Dem Unsullied be going to Brothels for bedtime stories and going night night for good too.

Tyrion be heading that way to straighten that mess out and get him some better wine.

So what becomes of John Snow? I know the books/producers say no character is sacred I have to believe that there is a future still for John Snow. Future Whitewalker? The witch saves him? His soul becomes one with the Direwolf? All of these are theories I've read so far.

Can you imagine Cersie's wrath? She'll ensure every one of the religious fanatics are skinned alive.

I thought there was a spoiler tag? I'm not seeing it now. @Dionysus where's it hidden?

I don't see that option, but I will consult the, "the man behind the curtain" for this site. The "Wizard" will know. Till then just follow the "yellow brick road."

I just used brackets... Anyway here's my response to @Seattle Husker (don't click if you truly don't want spoilers):

Kit Harrington, who plays Jon Snow, has confirmed that he will not be back for season 6, and that his character was killed off. Now, that's not to say that we won't return, and his comments can definitely be interpreted as such. I myself see Melisandre working her sorcery on him and bringing him back. I'm not sure why else they would have her returning to Castle Black. I am currently reading the first book, and hopefully I'll get through them all before the next book comes out. I don't know all the details with Jon Snow's character regarding parentage, but I've got some ideas. I haven't completely spoiled the books for myself, and to be honest I don't think those questions have been answered yet (I could be wrong).

I enjoyed every minute of Cersei's atonement walk. She's a c*nt and I can only hope that she doesn't have the satisfaction of getting revenge on the Sparrows. Any pain inflicted upon her is well deserved IMO.

It was immensely satisfying to see Arya get that kill. She has definitely come a long way from the little girl we came to know in the beginning of the series. I knew, however, that her actions would not sit well with Jaqen H'ghar, and I really hope her punishment is just temporary to teach her a lesson!

Stannis' death was a little uneventful, but ******* what a last couple of days for him. Karma is most definitely a *****.

I'm sick of the Sand Snakes and the horrible, overdone Dornish accents. I think that was a stupid move for Ellaria to poison Myrcella, but the sooner any of the Dornish characters are offed, the better.

Ok, but I still sent him a message about the spoiler option. I thought it was on here before. Sometimes the software changes or does funny things.

He will know what is going on or can find out, we have had some glitches after software updates before and they were worked out.

You little bookworm, you know what's happening before it happens on the show, of course they don't always follow the books.

I know it's in the BB codes, on the help page. It looks like you did it correctly. I'll let Dion explain it fully, for all options available.

Looks like you got it working...?

The Spoiler tool is in the drop-down on the post editor just above, to the right of the video thingy.

You can enter just the spoiler, or also a title with it.

I prefer doohickey, it just sounds like it could have other nefarious meanings.

Then there is thingamabob, that sounds more complicated.

I also like thingamajig, when not using minnows, I use my thingamajigs, to fish for crappie.

Dingus sounds like what georgecostanza puts on that old Silverado of his, or would that be "dingusberries.

Oh my. What a season opener. Now I know what Melisandre meant when she said "The night is dark and full of terrors."

We're still waiting to see Bran Stark and Hodor. Since they were not shown at all last season, my patience is good for that story line.

It was kind of a short episode, after all the intro, to get people back up to speed again.

I'm sure things will pick up rapidly now, got a lot of Westeros and Essos ground to cover, in the next nine episodes, with Winter closing in fast.

After that last scene showing what Melisandre really looks like, it probably spiked porn ratings, trying to get that image out of their heads.
