Once when driving from my grandparents (a few years ago) my mom was in the car with me. Not many stations came in where we were but the aggy sports network did and they were playing a game. Who against I don't remember but we listened to it. Me because they were losing and I knew it was entertaining.

After a few minutes my mom asked me if it was student radio or meant only to be broadcast to the dorms. Even she was amazed at how homer'ish and poor the broadcast was.

KK needs to get ahold of his control - not really sharp so far. Defense has helped with a couple of nice DPs. At 2-2, it doesn't feel good yet...

Wow, South just got excited it seemed. He reminds me of Foster Brooks. For those that don't know him, he was on a show called Laugh In as well as Celebrity Roasts for Dean Martin. He portrayed a drunk guy who spoke like Dave South.

I just noticed a "Home of the 12th Man" sign in the Texas dugout. It seems odd that A&M would have a sign like that at a baseball stadium even though you only have 9 players on the field..

Agree w/ Tom Wingo. This is actually my first large dose of Dave South, and I don't think he's been that bad at all. The color guy seems knowledgeable as well.

Good point Tom. I was just thinking about how many things you are going to want to say but then remember some may be seeing it. You have to paint a picture for the radio people yet not insult the tv audience.

I think it is funny how he and other broadcasters insert commercials. They all do it, they have to. It pays the bills and paychecks. But it is still funny.
