I am hearing that the Flagship hotel has been damaged beyond repair and some of the restaurants on the seawall were destroyed, does anyone have any info on the damage?

The Balinese Room, Murdoch’s Bathhouse, Hooters and the 61st Street Pleasure Pier are all gone.

How did Hotel Galvez do? We stayed there last summer and enjoyed it quite a bit.

I too am interested in the Galvez's status. Got married there this past May.

All i know is from the pictures Gilchrist, north of Galveston got obliterated. That island is barely an island anymore. The pictures are astonishing.

Being from the Beaumont/Pt. Arthur area, I have many friends and family with cabins that got destroyed on the Bolivar Peninsula (Crystal Beach). Best wishes to them, as we won't have a beach to go to in the near future. Total devestaton.
