FYI: UCLA tailgate rules

new rules put in place by UCLA this year...mailed out as part of UCLA season ticket package.

Lots open 6 hours prior to kickoff. NO DRINKING ALLOWED after game kicks off.

So, anybody that wishes to hang at the tailgate and enjoy the game on TV instead of buying a ticket will not be allowed to enjoy a cold beer while doing so.

That is a good thing for UT fans. We were "confronted" by some gansta UCLA clowns the last time the Horns played there. They were all in the lot getting their crunk on and did not like the color Burnt Orange or show the respect the Horns deserve.

Figures. Last time I was in LA, they had a huge brawl at the USC/UCLA game. Let's just say it ended in people getting stabbed.

I went in 1998 with my new bride. We witnessed Major's coming out party and Cade McNown abuse Johnny Walker on flag routes.

Also got a taste of Ucla "fans". Was not impressed. The Bruins beat us 49-38 and tried to beat us up on the way to the car.

I will be watching this time with my wife and two girls on the LONGHORN NETWORK.
