Hopefully CS will address the Texas issues. Note that while the aggy recruiting office gets the best marks, sumlin gets the worse.

Most of what is in the article is on the basis of how the previous staff recruited. I don't think any of the comments were about what the new staff was doing in the last 3 weeks. But we can see that improvement is needed in some areas, for sure.

The below is some good advice to follow.

• “Find a school you want to attend for five years — not coaches — they come and go.”

• “Don’t get caught up with your ranking on the recruiting websites. Improve on your game and go to the college camps.”

Texas was rated as one of the programs that needed "to step up their recruiting." ' That says a lot about how Mack had let the recruiting side of his job fall off the last few years.

I think Coach Strong will correct that.

I'm sure though that the Houston schools could be surveyed and get opposite results.
