Fun with handicaps

A coworker shared this story. I think it’s hilarious. Some may think its cruel, but I throw beers at deaf people so I’m pretty warped.

He went to college at Emporia state and a guy in his dorm room was in a wheel chair. He was apparently a pretty big ******* and was very bitter about not being able to walk.

Some football players cut in front of him at the lunch line (not sure if they noticed him or not) and he made a huge scene about it and said stuff like “What, are you going to hit a guy in a wheel chair” etc etc.

He also would break into other peoplsrooms in the dorm and play practical jokes on them. He would leave broken up crackers in peoples pillowcases and other dorm pranks, etc. So basically he dished out a lot of **** and when it came time to get his he played the handicap card, etc.

So they were all hanging out one day playing video games and the handicap guy had to
leave for class. They saw him through the window get his wheelchair stuck somehow

They watched him struggle for a couple of minutes and then all of a sudden the sprinkler system came on. So about every 25 seconds he was getting pelted in the face with water

Apparantly they left him there for 10 minutes laughing their asses off before they went and helped him.

I have a buddy who is a quad and an overall great guy about it... He would (and has) laughed at people like this...

And he had a lot to lose when he lost it. D1 prospect for sure...

Quite a few years back I worked with an older woman in a wheelchair who was a double-amputee. She had a great sense of humor and would run over your toes every chance she got. Back then she still used a dictaphone to type out meeting notes. So now and then, when she had her headphones on and was typing at the computer, we would quietly sneak up behind her and put books behind the wheels on her wheelchair. Then she couldn't back up from her desk.

Once the guy across the hall snuck up behind her and paper clipped a business card to flap in her spokes.

She took it in good stride.

i knew this guy in highschool that was in a wheelchair and also had some sort of mental disablilty. he had an electric wheelchair and would put in on full power and do wheelies. also on halloween someone has rollerblades as part of their costume and he would pull them around
