Fulham's done

Dammit. I've been pulling for them since the day McBride arrived.
I loved that FSC showed them almost every weekend and, regardless of coaching, formation, etc..., we'd get 2 or 3 Americans on the pitch at any given time.
Guess I'll have to start rooting for whichever team Altidore goes to in England.

Assuming he goes to England and not Spain, Germany, etc...

Sad but true. They've been my second team for a while, and McBride is one of my favourite players.

They haven't even got much against the other teams at the bottom recently - draw with Derby, loss to Sunderland.

They were relegated as soon as they hired Roy Hodgson.

I wonder if Dempsey gets sold. He had a good start to the year but has completely fallen off the map since. He looks tired and unmotivated. He's a useful enough player to get picked up by another Premiership team (probably a newly-promoted side) but Fulham might want to see if he can help them get back up. He'd probably be all-XI in the Championship next year.

It'd be nice if Dempsey was put on a team where he wasn't playing out of position.
I believe McHead is headed back to the States.
EJ - I have no idea.
Bocanegra - I believe he's getting screwed. Kolchesky or whatever his name is, sucks ***.
Keller - also headed back home.

I'm a big DeMerit fan. If you're not, you're probably a Communist. The Hornets are 1 point off automatic promotion so it's gonna be close, but I think they can do it. They started off the year absolutely on fire but have since fallen off. Still, they've got a good core of players and Boothroyd is a good manager. They'll have a much better go of it if they're back in the Prem; Boothroyd admitted to being over his head the first go-round and I think they, as a club, learned a lot a year ago.

Re: the rest of the Americans on Fulham, I'm almost certain EJ stays. They'd get absolutely nothing for him and he's not Premiership-ready anyway. He's the type of player that could score 15 goals in the CCC - he can beat you with straight-ahead speed and finish opportunities. If they don't have a fire sale, they'll probably have a good group of players remaining.

McBride should, and probably will, head back to MLS. He's still a helluva player that will be productive in our domestic league and I doubt he wants to work his *** off in a promotion campaign at his age.

Boca I could see getting sold. He's got lots of Premiership hours under his belt and could make for a decent CB for a promoted team. He's not a very good LB (or, IMO, CB) which is why Paul Komchesky has been getting all the starts there. I don't even know if Boca's played LB since Cookie Coleman left...?

Keller should retire. Not go to MLS, but just retire. That guy's ego will never let him though and I bet he even throws a fit about not being the American #1 this summer.
