Fuel Injector Connection

Jeep has been misfiring. Took it to Auto Zone to get the trouble codes. There were 13. Among the major ones were the fuel injectors 1 and 2 and 3 different coil packs. I took into a dealer for a diagnostic and was told two electrical connectors were broken/loose. Some of the other connectors were could easily be pulled out without much effort. Replaced coil packs by the way. Dealer ship said to stick with same brand (mopar)...

Im wondering if I could cut some connectors off of another harness and splice them together or would I have to buy new harness? Or is there an alternative you can rec I try?

Problem fixed for now. Took off the face of the connector pushed the wires through and crimped the brass fitting to get a tighter connection.

Never heard that before. I'll have to try that. Thanks for the tip!

Those special connectors on wiring harnesses can be quite a problem, because most dealers only sell the complete wiring harness, not just a repair connector. There are some companies that sell kits with different fuel injector connectors to shops, maybe some parts stores have some of them.
The right way is to replace the whole connector and solder the wires together, then put heat shrink tubing over the soldered wire splice to keep moisture out.
Sometimes you can put a little pick or screwdriver into the plastic connector and fish out the individual wire terminal, then clean it with electrical contact spray and/or tighten it by spreading it out a little bit.
The other alternative is going to a salvage yard and seeing if they will let you cut off some pieces of the wiring harness to crimp or solder in to your car. They may want to sell the engine wiring harness with a used engine, though.
