FSU gets Arkansas recruit

FSU did not have a QB in this year's class. With FSU having a Freshman starting this past year, not too many of the "big name" QB recruits were interested. This is probably the best FSU can do, considering their recent record, their pending probation, and Bobby's age.

FSU has a lot of people coming back next year, and most people expect it to be Bobby's last year. FSU should win 9 - 10 games, and end up ranked about #12. They have a slim chance at winning the ACC and going to a BCS bowl.

But compared to Florida, recruits see one school struggling and one school having the chance to go to the BCS championship game on a fairly regular basis. If you had a choice, where would you sign? That's why FSU is taking kids from Frisco.
 
I wouldn't just say the kid sucked based on how his scholarship offer worked out. Rivals reads that he was recruited directly by Jimbo Fisher...the future head coach of the Seminoles right? I gotta believe he sees some good upside in the kid.

His junior year he threw for over 2K w/ 25 TDs/5 ints. Doesn't appear to be a runner based on stats, but seems to have modest straightline speed w/ his listed 4.66. @ 6'3" and a lil over 200 lbs might be a prospect with good upside. Seems like Petrino saw something in the kid also.

Remember, people were like "who" when McCoy committed to Texas.

Anyone know if maybe this kid had a go to guy his junior year or maybe an injury his senior which accounts for the skewed stats?

But the rest of the story we did get Rudell Crim a 4 star Juco safety who committed to FSU out of high school. With QB Bradon Mitchel from Amite LA committed and a **** load of returning QB's including Ryan Mallet this was not a big need this year and it looks like we are going to have to cull some players to get at the limit this was a good thing for both parties, we will glady take a defensive lineman aka D.D. Jones from Bastrop a Arkansas lean or Aubrey Phillips who will decide between FSU Arkansas Auburn and Tenn.

This will be the Hogs best class ever from top to bottom with 30 commitments and only 6 in state guys and all of them a 3 star and better (rivals) and with the guys Paterno signed last year this is best 2 years of recruits we have ever seen, which is impressive considering all the projects Nutt signed it is indeed a new era in Razorback football. I liked Nutt because he is a good guy and coachand above all we needed stability in the program after Crowe and Ford but after all the drama with Broyles and Mustain and Malzahn it was time all of them left which they did including the president of the college, plus we need the best in Arkansas to stay here which Nutt couldn't do and so far Petrino has!
