Senior outside hitter Destinee Hooker headlined the Texas attack with her 19-kill, 10-dig effort. The All-American hit at a .400 clip to pace the Horns to their third straight win over the Huskers. Nebraska's loss marked the first time that it has lost to the same opponent three consecutive matches since it fell to Long Beach State three times between 1989 and 2001.

Texas did sweep the match two years ago. This was the first season sweep of NU.
