Frusciante is a weird dude. Used to be a super-heavy drug user. More recently super-clean. His solo stuff is interesting. Kind of ad-hoc.

I am a little disappointed but it will be interesting to see which way this takes the band.

As long as they get a good replacement, Flea and Chad Smith will lead the charge as always.

Man, that's bad news. Since Hillel's death, I believe their best stuff has been with John playing guitar. Best of luck to all of them, hope the Chilis find someone that truly "fits" in the band.
