Pretty good insight here on his pitching thoughts and gives us a glimpse of possible roles:

Burns could be a starter but says his stuff ticks up a notch when on short(er) assignments, so look for Burns to come out of the pen. Whether that’s as a stopper or closer or both remains to be seen.

Said Bing was uncharacteristic in his start, says they know he is better, look for him to get more chances and correct, says he throws more strikes than anyone on the staff and Bing is important to allow volantis from getting overworked. Essentially wants to bring volantis along methodically. Volantis could end up a starter some where down the line into the season.

Said Tuesday games for the time being they need to look at the rest of the staff that didn’t get to throw this weekend, I.e. Mcreery, Navarre, Flores, and Hamilton mentioned specifically. Said they can’t evaluate them without getting them in the games so look for more faces on the mound. I like it, I want to see all these guys pitch.

On the Houston game or Tuesday games in general, he approaches them no differently than the weekend games.

Yep. Lots of talk about (the other) Flores and how good he is on the mound. Navarre has good reports too. McCreery deserves some chances--he did, however, get blasted in the alumni game. They were teeing off on him like it was batting practice. Maybe just an off day. He had success at So. Carolina. He should get quite a few chances (Dre DuP sure did before he came through).

Hamilton (and Tumis) have already been evaluated, and they both throw amazing stuff--maybe the best on the staff with wicked movement and upper MLB level spin rates. They need more time on the mound in real games.

It seems that Grubbs will (probably wisely) be used sparingly for now to ensure he's fully healed. An inning or two here, an inning or two there. Maybe later in the season, he'll start.

Hell, Sabre and WorsterMan can throw strikes so that statement in the abstract doesn't tell us much.
Seems pretty simple to extrapolate from what he said, his outing was uncharacteristic because he's shown to be more accurate than any one else on the staff.

Maybe this helps....
Schloss went through some technical pieces but essentially stated that Bing's emotions were high and resulted in him throwing harder than he's ever thrown. Said he is more accurate and effective at a lower velocity and to look for him to make the adjustments.
