DENVER -- As it turns out, closer Huston Street's last rehab assignment with Triple-A Colorado Springs may have been better for his velocity than his rapport with umpires.
Street, who allowed three hits and three runs in 1 1/3 innings on Saturday, was ejected from the 7-2 loss to the Las Vegas 51s after he logged his scheduled four outs.
"I felt like the guy behind the plate had an off-night for both teams," Street said. "But that's part of the game. When you're out there, you can't let it affect you. I'm not going to sit out there and argue while I'm on the mound.
"But if I'm stating my case without using profanity, sometimes that's just part of the game. You're men and you argue. It's part of the game."
Manager Jim Tracy joked about Street's ejection SatuStreet could be activated Tuesday

Manager Jim Tracy joked about Street's ejection Saturday before Sunday's game but said the decision to re-activate Street, who has not pitched for the Rockies since the playoffs last year, won't come until Tuesday.
"Health-wise, completely healthy," Street said. "Velocity wise, 90-93 [mph]. Slider, there. Changeup, there. It's not obviously the way you want to finish, but in a weird way, I felt like I executed."
