I watched FNL for the first time - pretty entertaining. NOT looking forward to my daughters reaching HS age though.

IIRC, episode #2 from this season was one of my favorites from the entire series.

Smash episodes = great, his mom is best actor on the show
Jason episodes = boo
freshman QB episodes = pretty good

Furthermore... they seem to be running out of ideas...

I enjoy Coach Taylor the most as an actor. My favorite part of the show is when he is reacting with his team, like on the practice field. That and Tyra. The more Tyra the better.

I'm not buying the appropriating the money donated for the Jumbotron scoreboard theme. I know it points out the difference in priorities between academics and athletics, but the money was donated for the scoreboard. She can't get away with taking that money for books and teachers, she would be ridden out of town on a rail and tarred and feathered in any town in Texas, and that's just a fact of life.
