AUSTIN, Texas -- FOX Sports Southwest announced today that it will simulcast FOX College Sports’ telecast of Friday’s (May 20) crucial Texas vs. Texas A&M college baseball game in the network’s Northern region markets and on FOX Sports Plus in the Southern region, including Austin (Channel – 77).
The second game of the three-game in-state rivalry series that will decide the Big 12 regular-season title begins at 6:00 PM CT from Austin’s UFCU Dish-Falk Field. The series finale on Saturday, May 21 will be televised on FSN regional affiliates, including FOX Sports Southwest and FOX Sports Houston.
Steve Physioc (play-by-play) and former minor league baseball player and Colorado quarterback Joel Klatt (analyst) will call Friday’s game that also is being televised nationally on FOX College Sports. Greg Lucas (play-by-play), former major league pitcher Jack Lazorko (analyst) and Leila Rahimi (roving reporter) will work Saturday’s FSN telecast from Austin.
To accommodate Friday’s Texas A&M-Texas telecast, the Houston Astros-Toronto Blue Jays game has been moved to FOX Sports Plus in the network’s Northern region markets. Southern region markets will carry the Astros-Blue Jays game on FOX Sports Houston and FOX Sports Southwest, and the Texas A&M-Texas game on participating FOX Sports Plus affiliates.
