Friday KSU postponed by rain

"The Texas baseball team's game vs. Kansas State scheduled for Friday night has been postponed due to widespread rain expected in the region throughout the day.

A decision on the schedule for the remainder of the weekend has not been made. Officials will continue to monitor the conditions and forecast, and further changes to the schedule will be announced on TexasSports.com and on Twitter at @Texas_Baseball."

I wonder if this has to do with if KSU hasn't left for Austin yet, that they can extend the time for playing the series till Monday. That used to be the rule and maybe it still is.

Seems like tomorrow is very iffy with even more rain expected. Texas really needs to get all three of these home conference games in against a squad that is not expected to be a top team this season.

This series was important to get us pointed back in the right direction, especially on the mound. KSU is ranked 7 of 9 Big 12 teams in batting average, and 8 of 9 in pitching ERA. We need all 3 of these games played. Squeeze 'em in.
