Yeah they've shown that a few times. Wallace and Davis the two studs got into a little altercation, it's baseball though and spending that long together and the intense feelings that come with an elimination game can sometimes lead to little scuffles. They are fine now though, wasn't a big deal.

This is pretty close to a 15 or 14 seed making it to the Elite 8 in basketball. Fresno was defintely not one of the last four teams in but was not considered a threat at the regional let alone the supers.

Fresno State struggled early but was really strong towards the end sweeping through the conference tourney, just another case of a team playing up to/above their potential late in the season and making a run in the tourneys.

Yeah every year the west coast just throws another team out there with the traditional powers i.e. Fullerton LBSU, that compete with good pitching usually, fast, and well coached.

it will be interesting to see if Fresno dogpiles. If any team deserves to do so before they get to Omaha, Fresno would be the one.

The speculation I read on the NCAA baseball rivals board was that the fight was staged. I have no idea what that's supposed to accomplish other than to portray your two best hitters as selfish brats, but then Murphy makes a number of decisions I've never understood.

Someone on the rivals board said that they had staged fights in the regionals in 2002 and 2005.

Murphy is very clever at times, and very stupid at others. This is one of those stupid times.
