Free powerpoint type software?

Is there any free software I can download that will read powerpoint files?

If you just need to open/run the Powerpoint show: Powerpoint Viewer 2007

If you need to edit the show: OpenOffice Impress

Open Office is really cool and compatible with MS Office...and totally free and open source.

another vote for open office- I use it for my business instead of MS office. it's better for most things, and substantially more stable. And free.

I have open office. It works fine, but is significantly slower to start up than MSOffice.
