Free At Last Baylor Players Free At Last

I don't know how true this is saw it on 2 different places but a rumor going around saying Kendall briles is gone and stidham is announcing transfer in a week or 2.

I could believe the Stidham rumor faster than the K Briles gone rumour. Interesting, IIRC - Stidman just said at the end of May he was committed to staying at Baylor. Kendal, has the stain of the scandal on him so it would make sense to show him the door, but I doubt Baylor would do that this close to the 2016 season.

KBriles leaving would be more damaging immediately to the Baylor product on the field than their flight of players. I'm just going to start making another batch of popcorn and watch this play out.

Me too! And when it all goes down, I'm breaking out the East Texas Champagne...(that's a mix of ginger ale and a couple of shots of 'shine, for special occasions only of course).

Agreed. I said a while back as long as he was still in the the fold they will field a good offensive team but without him it will be a battle between them and Kansas for last place

when Baylor comes to town this season, the stadium will be the loudest we've heard in a long time?

Hadn't thought of that one Joe, but I believe it will be.

DKR will be as loud as it was versus West Virginia in 2012 - the loudest I personally heard it in many, many years.

Yep! BTW, does anybody believe that when Baylor comes to town this season, the stadium will be the loudest we've heard in a long time?
I dunno I bet it's pretty rowdy for ND as long as it's close. And if we go up early... Certified chaos should ensue.

That's was a fun day even though we lost
Loudest I've ever heard it was for the Mizzou game when we trounced Chase Daniels. Gameday was there, night game, last big home game against a top team and we could smell the national championship. That game DKR was deafening.

The loudest games I was in the stands for were the '90 UoH game, the Missouri game was right up there and the KSU game a few years back when a bad call resulted in a penalty against the Horns before the half and the crowd went ballistic the rest of the game. There were others but those stick out.

I expect the Baylor game will be extremely loud and so will the ND game, at least I hope the ND game is eardrum popping level of noise.

We absolutely throttled them in the first half. I think it was 35-0 at one point.

Watching these highlights, man Colt was good.

For sustained loudness I would second the 1990 Houston game. But for the loudest sustained moment, it would have to be the 1970 UCLA game, and the completely unexpected game winning pass to Cotton Speyer with 45 seconds left and our 30 game (?) winning streak on the line. I was in the temporary press box on the east side of the stadium and it was bedlam even up there.

The play where Colt drops the ball on the roll out and picks it up and throws it for a TD... I was 4 rows up in the endzone right infront of where it happened in the student section. I've never been in a crowd that erupted like that, sheer bedlam. Top 3 greatest sports moments I've witnessed live in my young life. It was at that moment everyone had the thought "we are unbeatable and going to the NC"
