So Cobb left Austin today and went to Waco knowing strong was waiting for him and then went back to Austin thinking strong would be still waiting. Really kid really

If true... dumbest thing I've read in a while.

Cobb would be nice but we are in pretty good shape at that position. Hudson is the prize if he comes over.

It's the oldest game in recruiting, but you only use restaurants when there are no sporting events to attend, and then it has to be a restaurant where you pay at the counter or a "friendly waitress". Imagine this scenario:

Coach: "Mr Cobb, I need to take this call. Please order me a cup of coffee, and tell her separate checks. This $100 bill should cover the coffee."

Coach: (back from call) "Mr Cobb, thanks for ordering. Change? What change? I need to go to the restroom. Please order me the #6. This $100 bill will cover it. I'll be right back."

Coach: (Back from restroom) "I forgot to order my orange juice. This $100 bill should take care of it. I'm going to get some info from the car."

Coach: "Change? What change?

Now play that out over every piece of bacon, sausage, slice of toast, biscuit, egg, waffle, etc, etc. During the January visitation period, it is done at a basketball game, where the coach's "bad knee" makes it hard for him to go to the concession stand. Over $everal meal$, it add$ up to lot$ of change.

Those kind of visits will make a parent really like that Waffle House.

The drama and suspense building to a fevered pitch, with wild speculation, and sweating anticipation of the masses while awaiting the pending proclamation. It's all a game....
