Defensive end Reggie Wilson received an offer from Texas this weekend and even though he isn't a Texas commit, we decided to post our free story on him over here because...well, you'll see. His story is really something else.

Reggie Wilson didn't take a typical path to the top.

Stranded from his family, Reggie Wilson lived by himself on the Ivory Coast for three years before joining his brothers in the United States. When he arrived, he'd never played football, but he quickly established himself as one of the best players in the state and began to get offers from across the country.

On Sunday, the unique defensive end got one from Texas.

We always seem to get the smart kids, so I like our chances. He's huge though; will probably grow into a DT when he's done.

sooners think they'll get him, but i like our chances. i'll be ok with getting 1 out of 2 of jeffcoat and wilson. 2 would be ridiculous. 0 would be bad.. and potentially terrible if they were both to go to norman.
