He has come out with good 1st round the last few years and then usually disappears after that.

Couples seems to be a good enough guy, but until Tiger loses I will not pick against him.

Here's another story for the week...

Colt Knost. Shot 80 today and finished dead last.

Last year's US-Am champ turned pro immediately and has done....jack ****. He gave up what could be his only ticket ever to the Masters, a US Open invite, and a British invite. I can understand not wanting to wait until either of the Opens....but August to April isn't that long to wait to turn pro.

I guess we all have our different priorities, but I would not have made this decision.

Knost told Golf Magazine he will paly in many Masters and he wasn't worried about his decision.

Couples was in the final group with Phil the last time I was at the Masters. Probably the two I would want to see outside of Tiger and Phil. After working many of the SHO's and seeing the support Couples has here it was a great scene when he won it.

Well as predicted Couples fell out of contention. Actually at 10 freakin' over now.

Better news is that Tiger shot a 66 and watched field fall back to him....now he is in a 4 way tie for the lead at -6 and is in the final group. If he wins on Sunday this will extend his winning streak of 7 months.
