Yeah, so it's been this f'ing warm the last 12 months.The Link

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
"Thirty-two states were record warm for the 12-month period, and an additional ten states were top ten warm. Each of the 12 months from June 2011 through May 2012 ranked among the warmest third of their historical distribution for the first time in the 1895-present record. According to NCDC, the odds of this occurring randomly during any particular month are 1 in 531,441.
Thus, we shouldn't expect to see another 12-month period so warm until 46,298 AD--assuming the climate is staying the same as during the past 118 years. "

Also of note, Spring 2012 was the most extreme on record for US.

For Northern Hemisphere, April 2012 was warmest on record.

For the rest of the world, April 2012 was 5th warmest on record.

We are about to enter a period of El Nino, which causes global temps to rise.

If anyone at this point thinks global warming isn't happening, or that it's not a concern (regardless of cause), you need to examine your value system.

Guess it's time to instill some new taxes in the name mother earth

This debate is so confusing. Sometimes localized climate events are irrelevant to global climate change...but, sometimes localized climate events are completely relevant to global climate change.
